Yesterday, the People’s Assembly in Al-Bussairah city, under the supervision of the joint presidency of the Council in cooperation and coordination with Deir Ezzor Civil Council, and under the umbrella of the international coalition, distributed humanitarian assistance consisting of foodstuffs, winter clothes and blankets to 500 families, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.
According to an employee in the People’s Assembly, the assistance came after Deir Ezzor Civil Council, represented by Dr. Ghassan al-Yousef, the Syrian Democratic Forces and the People’s Assembly in Al-Bussairah city, has made sustained efforts to help those in need against the cold wave that is hitting the region.
The assistance was distributed in the People’s Assembly building in Al-Bussairah city, in the presence of representatives of the Syrian democratic forces, the People’s Assembly and Deir Ezzor Civil Council.
The SDF-linked internal security forces and the international coalition forces provided protection during the distribution process, to ensure that no terrorist or criminal acts occur.
