A meeting was held this afternoon Sunday 12-4-2020, at the municipality building in Al-Sussah town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, including an official from the autonomous administration and the heads of the councils of Al-Sussah, Al-Baghuz, Ash-Shafah and Al-Marashdah towns, according to Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent.
Our correspondent added that “Zinnar,” the councils official, along with a delegation with him listened to the demands of the people of the region, which were conveyed by the heads of the councils.
At the top of the people’s complaints was the repeated harassment civilians subjected to by some checkpoints of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The heads of councils also demanded the food rations to be increased, and distributed in an organized manner, and they stressed the need to exempt the pharmacies and food shops from the curfew, and demanded intensified efforts and plans to get rid of the remaining mines and remnants of war.
At the end of the meeting, the local councils official promised to address all the issues raised during the meeting as soon as possible.
