Sources told Deir Ezzor 24 network that “Sheikh Muhannad,” a militia commander, has purchased a large house (Villa) in the municipal villas neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city.
The sources indicated that Muhannad assigned 40 members of the militia he commands to guard his new villa. He withdrew them from the militia’s points in al-Salha municipality at the northern entrance of Deir Ezzor city.
“Sheikh Muhannad” is from Jedid Akidat village in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside. He declared his allegiance to Assad regime at the beginning of the revolution, and with the arrival of the Iranian militias, he placed himself under the command of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard as a militia commander.
It is worth mentioning that Muhannad owns several properties, including chalets and villas in Latakia city, all of which he bought after becoming a militia leader.
