شنت مقاتلات التحالف الدولي، صباح اليوم الجمعة غارات جوية مكثفة على مواقع لتنظيم داعش على أطراف بلدة الباغوز بريف ديرالزور الشرقي.
كما دارت اشتباكات بين تنظيم داعش وقوات قسد على أطراف البلدة ذاتها، وسط قصف مدفعي متقطع من قسد على المنطقة التي يسيطر عليها التنظيم.
وتأتي الغارات الجوية بالتزامن مع إطلاق قسد والتحالف الدولي المرحلة الأخيرة من عملية عاصفة الجزيرة لطرد تنظيم داعش من أخر جيوبه شرق الفرات.
وكانت قوات قسد قد تمكنت من السيطرة على مواقع لتنظيم داعش في بلدة الباغوز فوقاني، بريف ديرالزور الشرقي، عقب معارك عنيفة مع تنظيم داعش.
